Sunday 16 December. Day around town.

I had a remarkable unbroken sleep until 08.30 and took a while to wake up properly. After a lateish and substantial breakfast I headed off for a stroll around town. There's not a lot to report except, what a nice place to hang out and get over jet lag.

I rediscovered the bus station and had a cool drink at Indah House which was nice though the place seems at risk of being Western only in its clientele.
Wandering around, I liked the motor parts shop with all the stools outside - How funny if Halfords became a social hub!

I was also struck by the apparent love of a pun in evidence on various signs etc.

After peaceful time back at the hotel, including enjoying the view from their rooftop

I eat at Life Cafe nearby. It seems a good find and one that imposed a tea-total day on me as alcohol was nowhere to be seen on the menu.
